4. Outline of your entire manuscript - Two (2) Page maximum
5. First 50 pages of your manuscript-in-progress.*
*Please note: If your manuscript is less than 50 pages, please submit entire manuscript. Additional details provided in the "Required Documents" section.

- Your signed and dated Non-Disclosure and Original Work Attestation Statements. You can download the non-disclosure and original work attestation statement here.
- One (1) page Personal Statement
- Manuscript Outline, Two (2) Pages Maximum
- First 50 pages of the manuscript-in-progress or entire manuscript, if less than 50 pages.
- Please upload a one (1) page personal statement addressing the following:
1. What was your inspiration for writing this manuscript?
2. What was most challenging while you were writing this manuscript?
3. Which writers do you admire and why?
4. Have you published anything in the past? A blog, magazine article, scholarly articles, etc.
5. What is the goal of publishing this manuscript? To launch a writing career, a hobby?
Failure to comply may disqualify entries.
- Please provide the first 50 pages of the manuscript-in-progress are to be submitted. Submit entire manuscript if less than 50 pages.
The manuscript must be typed and double-spaced. Entrants submitting via snail mail should include their name, address, telephone number and e-mail address (if available) on the title page, but nowhere else on the manuscript.
For those entrants submitting online, name, address, telephone number and e-mail address should NOT appear anywhere on the manuscript. Pages should be numbered.
If a manuscript is selected for the final round, the author will be asked to send another copy of the originally submitted first 50 pages plus pages 51-100. Submissions will be acknowledged by an email.
Failure to comply with manuscript guidelines and entry requirements may disqualify entries.
